How to apply to be an affiliate
Applying to be an affiliate is completely free and couldn’t be easier, simply click here to contact me. I would also kindly ask you to briefly describe why you would like to be considered.
How does it work?
Once accepted, you’ll be provided with your own user area where you can promote and track all your activity.
Commissions are paid when there is a successful purchase of one my courses by customers referred to EcommerceMindset by your affiliate link. To protect against refunds, commissions are paid on the 5th of every month and relate to purchases made in the month before the last. So for example, for purchases made in March, the commissions for this period will be paid on May 5 pending any refunds. The account must also not belong to an existing customer, have passed our verification procedure and the purchase has not been void, cancelled or revoked during the review period by the customer or by us.
Payments are made exclusively via PayPal to your PayPal address that you will indicate at the time of becoming an affiliate.
You are allowed to open and run only one affiliate account; multiple accounts will be closed at our sole discretion. You agree to register and maintain correct and up-to-date contact information with EcommerceMindset.
Affiliate marketing is a huge and profitable business. But, if you are promoting anyone’s products you are required to state that you are essentially getting paid to do so. This is totally logical and fair to the reader, because it allows them to make an informed decision while preventing wild and damaging claims that would be detrimental to the whole industry in the long run.
The Federal Trade Commission clearly defines best practices for affiliate marketers, and it is our position that all affiliates must use these guidelines and regulations as Standard Operating Procedure during their endorsement or promotion. You can download the complete document here http://ftc.gov/os/2009/10/091005revisedendorsementguides.pdf.
In essence it is ABSOLUTELY VITAL that every affiliate adhere to the HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS of Ethical & Legal Conduct and therefore…
1. DO NOT SPAM
2. Do NOT send JUNK or UNQUALIFIED TRAFFIC to your affiliate link
3. Don’t TWITTER SPAM
4. DO NOT Social Media SPAM
5. Don’t misrepresent yourself as a “typical result” or as a “typical customer” when you promote this offer
It’s important to recognize that if you ignore these rules, not only are you in breach of the guidelines but you also wont make any sales and you’ll be immediately banned from wherever you spammed your link! Good affiliate marketing (because that’s what you are doing) is all about dropping your affiliate link AND providing value at the same time.
‘Hi, check out this course [affiliate link] it’s the best ever. I took it and couldn’t believe I was making 100,000 a month within 14 days. Get it now as I’m sure the price will be going up very soon.’
‘Hi, I can certainly recommend ‘The Complete Shopify Aliexpress Dropship course’ by Tim Sharp. It’s a 6 hour in-depth course, but he goes through it in simple step-by-step manner which I really enjoyed. So far I’ve set up my store and have made a few sales which is exciting. There’s also a private Facebook group with 17,000+ members which I found to be valuable support. The course has been taken by 40,000+ people and I believe it’s one of the most popular courses of it’s type on the internet. If you’re interested, you can find the course here [affiliate link]. This is an affiliate link which I hope is OK with the group admins.’
To your success,
